About Our Products
All of the logs that don’t go on the sawmill end up at the wood splitter for firewood. We offer fresh split, seasoned, and kiln dried firewood. Our hardwood mix consists of oak, hickory, ash, maple, poplar, walnut, etc. For outdoor camping, we offer kiln dried pine bundles for quicker portability.
All products can be delivered and stacked upon request, and the first delivery is always free!
The Splitting Process
We own and operate a 2021 Powersplit with dual splitting heads and conveyor belt, which can split firewood pieces up to 19 inches long and any width that you might desire. One of the things that makes us different from most companies is that we don’t use a processor, so every piece of firewood is split by hand. Most distributors split a log into 4 or 6 pieces and call it firewood. For most people, that just isn’t cut small enough.

Why Choose “Kiln Dried” Firewood?
It’s our best product by far. By getting the core temperature of firewood up to and above 160°F for several hours, we are able to speed up the drying process. Instead of 6-12 months of drying, it takes just a few days to be ready to burn. The high temperatures also kill all of the pests in and around the wood. With kiln dried firewood, you no longer have to worry about firewood bringing termites, ants, spiders, or roaches into your home.

Quality Control
All of our wood is sawed and split to the appropriate length and width, usually 16-18 inches long and 2-5 inches wide depending on the customer’s preference.
We use a Delmhorst J-2000 moisture meter to ensure that all of our firewood and lumber is at the desired moisture content. One piece of wood in each kiln load has a 5 inch hole drilled out and a high temperature thermostat inserted to guarantee that every rick kills all insects and meets USDA standards for heat treating firewood.
